The National Assembly for Wales is the democratically elected body that represents the interests of Wales and its people, makes laws for Wales, and holds the Welsh Government to account.
 
The Senedd was opened in 2006, and is where Assembly Members gather for weekly Plenary meetings.

The Assembly is open to the public through a variety of different programmes and events.

Guided tourS around the Senedd can be booked and visitors can attend Plenary meetings or committee meetings, or find out the history of the building in Cardiff Bay.
