Prinknash has an unusually relaxed atmosphere and is different from many bird parks as it has been designed as a traditional 18th century park with traditional follies.
When visitors enter the park they are greeted by 50 peacocks and waterfowl on the walk to the Love Bird Aviary and the Golden Wood and onto Monks fishing pond which is teaming with large fish. After leaving the woods your attention will be drawn to the two storey Tudor Wendy House where children can play. Other sights for visitors to enjoy are the tame Fallow Deer who will follow you towards the Domed Aviary.
